4 star Mediterranea Hotel and Suites

Situated on top of a hill, the four star Mediterranea Hotel and Suites, has uninterrupted views over St Paul's Bay, overlooking both the fishing harbour and St Paul's Island. The Hotel was built in 1999 and has 5 floors served by two lifts. It is fully air conditioned with 22 twin/double rooms, 15 studios, 13 one bedroom and 9 two bedroom apartments. It is decorated and furnished in a traditional Mediterranean rustic style with much use of an arch motif.

The nearest beach is below the hotel. The rocks of which provide the ideal spot both for sun bathing and swimming. It is within walking distance of the perched beach in Bugibba

The 4 star Mediterranea Hotel is located on the eastern side of St Paul's Bay town, close to the bustle & excitement of Bugibba. It is 12 km away from the airport and located on major bus routes.

Mediterranea Hotel's Apartment's Living Area

The Mediterranea Hotel & Suites provided both hotel bedrooms and self catering apartments. The latter include one and two bedroom, plus studio apartments. Most of the rooms have balconies with direct or side sea views.

The comfortable rooms are floored with tiles and furnished in a traditional Mediterranean style. The rooms like the rest of the hotel are air conditioned and come with satellite television, radio, telephone, mini-bar and safe (at extra charge). The rooms are equipped with either double or twin beds. The en suite bathrooms have a full sized bath with shower, toilet, hair dryer, shaver point and a very handy clothes line.

The self catering apartments are similarly well equipped. In addition they have a fully equipped kitchenette and living area. The two bedroom apartments have an extra bathroom.

Restaurant and Bars in the Mediterranea Hotel & Suites

The Il Faro Breakfast Room is located on the ground floor and provides continental or English buffet breakfasts for guests at the Mediterranea Hotel & Suites.

There are two bars in the Mediterranea Hotel & Suites, the Il Faro bar and the pool bar. The Il Faro bar is located next to the restaurant and is open every day, whilst the pool bar is open during the warmer months. Snacks, including salads and grilled dishes, are also available from the pool bar.

Room service is available during restaurant opening hours.

There is a roof top swimming pool, surrounded by the Sun Terrace. Guests can enjoy the spectacular views over St Paul's bay from here. There is also an extra large jacuzzi on the Sun Terrace.

The Mediterranea Hotel & Suites also provides a fitness centre for guests. It includes a sauna, and private showers.

There is an internet café for those who would like to keep in contact with family and friends.

For those who would like to enjoy a night out, the hotel can provide a baby sitting service.
